We're making changes....

As most of our customers know, we are a small family business--as in, our daughter is with us at the shop all the time.  We have recently come to realize that Theresa feels that she can be a great mother, or a great shopkeeper, but not both at the same time!  That being the case, we have decided that the priority lies with being a mommy, and have decided to close our retail location and change our focus slightly.  We will continue our website business, and we will focus on getting our Scotch Kisses (our best seller) into specialty shops so that you can conveniently get your hands on them.  We will also more heavily promote Pressing On; we love designing and producing letterpressed creations.  The main difference is that we will do these things from our home, where our schedule can be more flexible and can work around Maggie's.  

We are, of course, sad to see the retail space go; we put a lot of hard work into it.  But in the end, this is a business, and we need to run it in a way that works not just financially but also for our family.  Perhaps in the future, we may revisit having a retail space, but now is not the right time for our family, especially since it's just getting started! 

A HUGE thank-you to all those who have become so dear to us as customers and friends.  Danvers Square was a great spot to learn and grow, and while we'll miss having a shop there among such wonderful people, we will be down there giving our business to others regularly. 

Please continue shopping with us online; you will still be able to get the high-quality chocolates and candies from us that you've come to expect, just in a different format.  And just like in the shop, if you don't see exactly what you want listed, let us know--we are always willing to customize for your needs.  Be in touch through email, and please keep your eyes peeled for us at community events!

Thanks again for everything, and we hope to hear from you frequently, even if we don't see you in person as often!
